What we use to deliver ERP implementation cost
Tools and platforms we typically use, and the systems it connects to. The final choice is made against your systems, budget and team.
ERP Implementation Cost in the UAE: what is included
ERP implementation cost in the UAE depends on modules, users, data migration, integrations, Arabic documents and how much custom development you need, plus licences billed separately by the vendor.
Modules in scope
Each module adds configuration, testing and training. Accounting and inventory alone is a very different project from accounting, inventory, manufacturing, payroll and field service. We price per module so you can see what each adds and phase the rest.
Licences billed by the vendor
Odoo, Zoho and Microsoft bill licences directly or through resellers, separately from our services. Microsoft list prices are published, for example Business Central Essentials USD 70 and Premium USD 100 per user per month, and Team Members USD 8. Zoho and Odoo publish their own plans.
Data migration effort
Moving customers, items and opening balances is modest. Moving years of transactions, batch-tracked stock or open project balances is not. Messy source data from Tally, QuickBooks or spreadsheets adds cleansing time, so we sample your data before quoting.
Integrations and custom code
Connecting e-commerce, banks, WPS agents, an ASP for e-invoicing or a legacy system each adds build and testing. Custom modules for unusual processes add more. Configuration is always cheaper than code, so we push for configuration first.
Training and change management
Users who are trained in their own roles adopt faster. Training cost scales with user groups and whether you want Arabic sessions, train-the-trainer or on-site workshops in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah.
Support after go-live
Budget for hypercare in the first weeks and then a support plan covering fixes, small changes and version upgrades. Odoo's yearly major versions and Dynamics 365 release waves need planned upgrade effort, which we include in multi-year estimates.
Comparing three quotes on equal terms
How ERP implementation cost in the UAE looks in practice. Illustrative; every project is scoped to the business.

For example, an Abu Dhabi facilities management company with a Sharjah branch receives three ERP quotes that look wildly different. One excludes data migration, another prices licences for fewer users than it has, and the third bundles years of support. The finance director cannot tell which is cheaper, and the board wants a recommendation within a month.
- Build a single scope document listing modules, users by role, entities, integrations, reports and migration history, and ask every provider to price against it.
- Split each quote into licences, implementation, migration, integrations, training and first-year support, so like is compared with like line by line.
- Flag assumptions each provider makes, such as who cleans the data or who builds reports, and convert them into cost or risk for the board.

Which platform for ERP implementation cost in the UAE?
An honest comparison. We implement all of these, so the recommendation follows your processes, team and budget.
| Option | Best when | How it fits this need |
|---|---|---|
| Zoho One or Zoho Books suite | Small and mid-sized firms wanting low licence and set-up cost | Per-user licences are modest and configuration is quick, so total cost is usually lowest; costs rise if heavy customisation in Creator or Deluge replaces standard features. |
| Odoo | Operational businesses needing manufacturing, stock and projects | Licence cost is moderate and hosting options vary; implementation cost depends heavily on custom modules, which also add upgrade effort every year, so keep them limited. |
| Dynamics 365 Business Central | Mid-sized firms on Microsoft 365 with finance depth needs | Published list prices of USD 70 Essentials and USD 100 Premium per user per month apply; implementation effort sits higher than Zoho, and UAE localisation comes from partners. |
| Custom-built ERP | Truly unusual operations no package models well | No licence fees, but build, testing and lifelong maintenance of VAT, Corporate Tax and e-invoicing make total ownership cost the highest over several years. |
What changes in the UAE
The local rules and realities we design for before go-live. Rules change, so we re-check the current position at scoping.
E-invoicing belongs in the budget
UAE e-invoicing starts with a pilot from 1 July 2026, AED 50M+ businesses from 1 January 2027 and others from 1 July 2027; check the Ministry of Finance for the latest dates. ASP connection and PINT AE setup should be in scope now.
VAT and Corporate Tax setup
Configuring VAT 201 reporting, TRN on invoices, reverse charge on imports and Corporate Tax groupings is standard work, but it must be tested properly. It is always included in our UAE quotes.
Arabic documents and training
Bilingual invoice templates, Arabic reports and Arabic-language training take time to design and check. Say at scoping whether you need them so they are priced rather than added later.
What drives the cost, and what it connects to
No price list: we quote a fixed price in AED after discovery. These are the factors that move the effort up or down.
Users and licence types
Licence cost scales with named users and their roles; buying full licences for occasional approvers or report viewers inflates cost when lighter licence types would do.
Gaps needing custom code
Every requirement the standard product cannot meet adds development, testing and upgrade effort; challenging whether each gap is essential is the single strongest cost lever.
Data quality and history
Clean master data and a short history migrate quickly; duplicate customers, unreconciled balances and years of transactions multiply migration, validation and reconciliation effort considerably.
Training and adoption
Training users across several sites and languages, plus written guides and floor support at go-live, adds cost but reduces the far larger cost of a system nobody uses.
What it connects to
Budget for connecting invoices to an ASP for e-invoicing; connector fees and set-up differ by platform and provider.
Automated statement imports reduce reconciliation effort; direct connections may carry bank or connector fees on top of implementation.
Linking payroll to the ledger and WPS agent adds set-up; cost depends on whether payroll lives inside the ERP.
Each sales channel connected to the ERP adds integration build and testing, plus possible third-party connector subscriptions.
Reporting beyond standard ERP reports adds licences and dashboard build effort, priced separately from the core implementation.

Go-live and hypercare
Cutover, user support and a handover into a support plan if you want one.
When ERP implementation cost is the wrong answer
Beware quotes that look low because migration, integrations or training are excluded. If your budget is tight and your company is small, a full ERP may be premature: Zoho Books with Zoho Inventory, or Odoo with two or three apps, can be a sensible first phase, with more modules added later.
How we handle it: We implement Zoho, Odoo and Dynamics 365 and build AI and custom software, so our written recommendation can point you to a simpler option, or to doing nothing yet.
Checklist and common mistakes
Buyer's checklist
What to ask for before you choose a provider.
- Ask every provider to quote against the same written scope, including user counts by role and each integration.
- Require licences, implementation, migration, integrations, training and support shown as separate lines, not one bundled figure.
- Confirm who cleans and validates legacy data, since that assumption alone can move cost significantly after signing.
- Ask what happens to price if scope changes, and how change requests are estimated, approved and billed.
- Check whether e-invoicing readiness is included or excluded, and verify rollout dates with the Ministry of Finance.
- Request the post go-live support model, response times and what counts as support versus new development.
Common mistakes
What we see go wrong in the UAE, and how to avoid it.
- Comparing headline prices onlyThe lowest quote often excludes migration, reports or training. Normalise every quote against one scope and list exclusions, or the cheapest option becomes the most expensive.
- Forgetting recurring licence costsImplementation is a one-off, but licences, hosting and support recur every year. Compare several years of ownership, not just the first invoice, before deciding.
- Leaving e-invoicing out of budgetUAE e-invoicing will need connector set-up and testing. Include it now rather than paying for a rushed project later, and confirm dates with the Ministry of Finance.
- No contingency for surprisesHidden data issues and new requirements always appear. Keep a contingency and a clear change process, rather than assuming the first estimate will cover everything.
