Quality control points
We define control points per product, category and operation: on receipts, at manufacturing work orders or before delivery. Each point sets the check type, frequency such as every lot or a random sample, and who is responsible.
Checks in receipts and production
We configure checks that appear automatically when goods are received or a work order reaches the step: pass or fail, instructions, photos or measurements. Operators cannot skip mandatory checks, and results are stored against the lot or serial number.
Measures and tolerances
We set measurement checks with norm values and tolerance limits so readings outside range fail automatically. Results can be charted over time in Odoo Spreadsheet to spot drift, giving SPC-style visibility without a separate statistics tool.
Quality alerts and actions
We set up quality alert teams, stages and root cause categories. Failed checks raise alerts with the affected product, lot and work centre, and corrective and preventive actions are tracked until closed.
Worksheets and instructions
We build quality worksheets with custom fields for detailed inspections, and attach instructions, drawings or photos to each check. Operators see exactly what to inspect, and the completed worksheet becomes the inspection record.
Traceability and holds
We link quality results to lots and serial numbers so you can trace a failed batch to its supplier and to the customers who received it. Failed goods can be moved to a quarantine location until a decision is made.
