Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner in Dubai: the short answer

What we use to deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner
Only what the first phase needs is switched on; more follows in later phases.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner in Dubai: what is included
Looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in Dubai to run your project? Shyphan is an independent Dynamics 365 implementation partner in the delivery sense: we design, build, test and support Sales, Customer Service, Business Central and Finance for Dubai companies, while your licences stay with Microsoft or a Microsoft CSP.
Delivery partner, not a reseller
We are paid for delivery only. Licences are bought from Microsoft or a Microsoft CSP of your choice, so our advice on how many Sales Enterprise or Team Members seats you need is not linked to a licence margin.
Mainland and free zone entities
Many Dubai groups trade through a mainland LLC and hold stock in a JAFZA or DMCC company. We model each as its own legal entity in Business Central, with intercompany postings and the VAT treatment each zone needs, under one Microsoft tenant.
DIFC entities handled separately
A DIFC-registered firm answers to the DIFC data protection law, not only the federal PDPL. We scope its environment, security roles, audit logging and data location on their own terms instead of copying a mainland template across.
Commodity trading set-ups
DMCC traders need purchase and sale contracts, lot and weight tracking, multi-currency pricing in USD and AED and margin by shipment. We map these into Business Central or Finance before promising anything to your trading desk.
Taking over stalled projects
If a previous Dubai partner left a half-built system, we audit the tenant, customisations, open issues and data quality, then give you a written recovery plan and a fixed price to finish or restart.
Workshops at your Dubai office
Design workshops and user acceptance sessions can run at your office in Business Bay, Al Quoz, Dubai Silicon Oasis or Dubai South when the project needs people in one room. Everything else is delivered remotely on UAE time.
Paid discovery before a group rollout
How Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in Dubai looks in practice. Illustrative; every project is scoped to the business.

Picture a family-owned Dubai group with a trading company in Deira, a property company and a small hospitality business, each on different accounting software. The board wants one Dynamics 365 platform but has received very different proposals and cannot compare them. They want an implementation partner to prove the approach on one company before committing the whole group.
- Run a fixed-scope discovery across all three companies, documenting processes, reporting needs, data volumes and which Dynamics 365 apps each company genuinely needs.
- Implement Business Central for the trading company first as a pilot, with group chart of accounts and reporting designed so later companies fit in.
- Review the pilot results with the board, then quote the property and hospitality companies separately with lessons from the pilot built into the plan.

Which platform for Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in Dubai?
An honest comparison. We implement all of these, so the recommendation follows your processes, team and budget.
| Option | Best when | How it fits this need |
|---|---|---|
| Independent implementation partner | You want delivery focus without licence sales targets | Suits Dubai companies that buy licences from Microsoft or a CSP and want an implementation team judged on delivery. You manage the licence relationship separately. |
| Microsoft reseller and implementer | You prefer one contract covering licences and services | Buying licences and services from one firm simplifies contracting. Check that proposals are driven by your needs rather than licence volume, and compare scopes carefully. |
| Freelance Dynamics 365 consultant | Small, well-defined tasks on an existing system | A freelancer can suit small changes or reports. For full implementations across several companies, one person rarely covers finance, development, integration and testing alone. |
| Zoho or Odoo instead | Microsoft 365 is not central and budgets are tight | If your Dubai group does not rely on Microsoft 365, Zoho One or Odoo can cover similar needs at lower licence cost. Shyphan implements all three, so this comparison is part of discovery. |
What changes in Dubai
The local rules and realities we design for before go-live. Rules change, so we re-check the current position at scoping.
Designated zones change VAT
Goods moving between a JAFZA or other designated zone warehouse and a Dubai mainland customer can be treated differently for VAT. We set tax posting groups per entity and test them with your tax adviser before go-live.
DIFC and federal data rules
DIFC firms follow the DIFC data protection law; mainland companies follow Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021. Group-wide Dynamics tenants need access rules that respect both, which we design at scoping.
E-invoicing through an ASP
UAE e-invoicing uses PINT AE through Accredited Service Providers, with large businesses from 1 January 2027 and others from 1 July 2027. Check the Ministry of Finance for the latest dates; we plan the connector in scope.
Working with businesses in Dubai: we support companies across JAFZA, DMCC, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Internet City, DIFC, Al Quoz and Dubai South, with remote delivery and on-site workshops where the project needs them.
What drives the cost, and what it connects to
No price list: we quote a fixed price in AED after discovery. These are the factors that move the effort up or down.
Depth of discovery
A short discovery suits one company with clear needs. Groups with several businesses and competing requirements need longer workshops, which cost more but prevent expensive changes later.
Companies and phasing
Implementing all companies at once concentrates effort and risk. Phasing by company spreads cost and lets lessons from the first rollout reduce effort for later ones.
Apps and extensions
Each Dynamics 365 app and custom AL extension adds configuration, testing and training. Using standard features wherever possible keeps both the project and future upgrades cheaper.
Data quality
Clean customer, supplier and item data migrates quickly. Years of duplicates and inconsistent codes across different legacy systems need cleansing time from both your team and ours.
What it connects to
Opening balances, open invoices and master data are extracted from existing systems and loaded into Dynamics 365 at cut-over.
Outlook, Teams and SharePoint connect to Dynamics 365 so staff work with customer records and documents in familiar tools.
Invoices will be sent through an ASP in PINT AE format for UAE e-invoicing, following the Ministry of Finance timetable.
Bank statements import into Business Central or Finance for reconciliation across each Dubai company's accounts.
Group reporting across companies combines Dynamics 365 data so the board sees results in one consistent view.

When Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner is the wrong answer
If your procurement rules require a Microsoft Solutions Partner designation, or you want licences, funding programmes and delivery bundled from one Microsoft partner, we are not the right choice and we will say so. For a Dubai team of under 15 users with simple sales and invoicing, Zoho One usually costs less and goes live faster.
How we handle it: We implement Zoho, Odoo and Dynamics 365 and build AI and custom software, so our written recommendation can point you to a simpler option, or to doing nothing yet.
Checklist and common mistakes
Buyer's checklist
What to ask for before you choose a provider.
- Ask the partner to state clearly whether they sell licences, and where your licences will come from.
- Request a written discovery output listing processes, apps needed and open questions before the full implementation quote.
- Check who will actually work on your project and ask to meet the lead consultant, not only the sales team.
- Ask how the partner handles Dubai mainland, free zone and DIFC entities differently in one Dynamics 365 tenant.
- Require a data migration plan with clear responsibilities for cleansing, since your team usually owns the old data.
- Confirm post-go-live support terms, response times and how release-wave updates will be tested.
Common mistakes
What we see go wrong in the UAE, and how to avoid it.
- Comparing proposals on price aloneProposals with different scopes cannot be compared by total cost. Ask each partner to price the same discovery output, or run a paid discovery first.
- Designing only for the first companySetting up the pilot company without group structure forces rework later. Design chart of accounts, dimensions and reporting for the whole group upfront.
- Leaving data cleansing to the endData problems found at cut-over delay go-live. Start cleansing customer, supplier and item data during design, with clear owners on your side.
- Skipping user acceptance testingRushing past testing to meet a date causes problems in the first month. Protect time for your users to test real processes before go-live.
