Systems on old Windows Server, SQL Server or PHP versions no longer receive security patches. For UAE firms holding personal data under PDPL, that is a compliance exposure as well as a technical one.
E-invoicing deadlines ahead
Under Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 of 2025, businesses with AED 50M+ revenue go live from 1 January 2027 and others from 1 July 2027. Legacy billing often cannot comply; check the Ministry of Finance for the latest dates.

When legacy software modernization is the wrong answer
Modernization is not always the answer. If the old system is stable, patched and does its job, a maintenance plan costs far less than a rebuild. If it mostly does standard accounting or stock, moving to Zoho or Odoo is usually cheaper than rewriting it. We will recommend the lower-risk route even when that means a smaller project for us.
