Shyphan AI Solutions is a Zoho AI Enabled Partner for businesses in Egypt: accredited by Zoho on 14 October 2026 after the Zoho AI Accelerator Series 2026, the first in the Middle East and Africa, and a Zoho Premium Partner. We implement Zia, Zia Agents, Zoho MCP and AI automation inside Zoho CRM, Books, Desk and Analytics, designed around the Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and VAT and ETA e-invoicing, and tested in Arabic and English.
Egypt is a large, price-sensitive market with big sales and support teams, and the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing rules on top. AI in Zoho helps those teams prioritise leads and handle Arabic support at volume.

Start at the lightest layer that solves the problem. Add agents and external models only when the job needs them.
Claude, ChatGPT and other models work on Zoho data through scoped, permission-controlled tools.
Use when: assistants or external models must act on Zoho dataGoal-driven agents that plan multi-step work: qualify leads, prepare quotes, triage tickets.
Use when: a task has several steps and clear rulesPredictions, anomaly alerts, sentiment, reply suggestions and natural-language analytics.
Use when: the job sits inside one Zoho app (most projects start here)Zoho CRM, Books, Desk, People, Inventory, Analytics and Creator: the foundation every AI layer reads from.
Clean, consistent data comes firstEvery use case keeps a person in control where money, compliance or customers are at stake.
| Team | What AI does in Zoho | Where a person stays in control |
|---|---|---|
| Sales | Lead scoring and deal predictions in Zoho CRM, call and email summaries, follow-up drafts. | Reps approve outbound messages and discounts. |
| Customer service | Ticket triage and routing in Zoho Desk, sentiment flags and suggested replies in Arabic and English. | Agents review replies on refunds, complaints and escalations. |
| Finance | Reading supplier bills into Zoho Books, flagging unusual transactions, chasing overdue invoices, alongside VAT and ETA e-invoicing. | Finance approves postings, tax treatment and payments. |
| HR | Answering policy and leave questions in Zoho People, screening applications in Zoho Recruit. | HR makes every hiring and people decision. |
| Leadership | Plain-language questions and forecasts in Zoho Analytics across sales, finance and operations. | Decisions stay with leadership; AI supplies the numbers. |
In Egypt: Egyptian businesses keep ETA e-invoicing in their certified invoicing process while AI handles lead scoring and Arabic support replies.
AI is only as safe as the rules it is built around. These are the ones we design for in Egypt.
The Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020. We document which fields each AI feature can read, keep access least-privilege and keep people in the loop on decisions about people.
14% VAT and the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoice and e-receipt systems. AI assists finance teams, but tax calculation and statutory invoices stay rule-based, never decided by a model.
Customers and staff in Egypt work in Arabic and English. Prompts, reply suggestions and summaries are tested in each language before go-live.
Zoho accounts in Egypt are hosted in one of Zoho's regional data centres. We check where your account is hosted and which AI features run in that region, and we document any external model connection and the fields it receives.
Six things to settle before AI goes live in your Zoho account.
Each step ends with something you can review before the next one starts.
Discover
We map the process, agree the KPI the project must move, and audit the data AI will rely on: duplicates, empty fields, inconsistent stages.
Output: Process map, KPI, data audit
Choose
If native Zia solves it, we use Zia. Zia Agents, Zoho MCP or an external model come in only when the job needs them.
Output: Recommended AI layer
Guardrails
Each agent or connection gets the minimum access it needs, approval steps for risky actions, and logging designed around Egypt's PDPL.
Output: Access and approval model
Pilot
We run on a real slice of your data with a test set of normal and awkward cases in Arabic and English, and agree the accuracy bar before go-live.
Output: Pilot results vs accuracy bar
Hand over
Users and admins are trained, the setup is documented, and we review results after go-live to tune prompts, rules and thresholds.
Output: Trained team, documentation
The same accredited team delivers Zoho AI across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas.

Egypt moved further and faster on e-invoicing than most of the region. Invoices and receipts are transmitted to the Egyptian Tax Authority rather than merely kept, and an invoice the ETA has not accepted is not a deductible cost for your customer - which makes the integration a commercial issue, not just a tax one.
| Obligation | What the rule is | What has to be configured |
|---|---|---|
| Value added tax | The standard rate is 14 per cent, with a schedule of table-tax rates on specific goods and services and a zero rate on exports. Returns are monthly, due by the end of the following month. | Tax codes per rate and per schedule item, and a return that comes out of the ledger rather than being assembled from it. |
| ETA e-invoicing | B2B electronic invoices must be signed and submitted to the Egyptian Tax Authority portal, and the e-receipt system covers B2C. Your customers cannot claim a cost you have not filed. | Direct integration with the ETA portal, unit and item codes mapped to GS1 or EGS, and submission failures surfaced as an exception queue rather than a silent gap. |
| Corporate income tax | 22.5 per cent on taxable profits, with quarterly advance payments where they apply and an annual return. | A chart of accounts that separates deductible from non-deductible spend at entry, because reclassifying a year of it is the expensive way. |
| Withholding tax | Withholding applies to a range of local payments at rates that vary by payment type, remitted and reported quarterly. | Withholding rules held against the supplier and the expense type, applied at payment. |
| Payroll tax and social insurance | Salary tax is withheld under a progressive scale and remitted monthly. Social insurance contributions go to the National Organization for Social Insurance on insured salary, which is not the same as gross pay. | A separate insured-salary basis maintained alongside gross, so the two calculations do not fight each other. |
| Currency and reporting | The pound has moved sharply, and many contracts are quoted in dollars while the books are kept in pounds. | Multi-currency with revaluation at period end, and a reporting currency for the parent where there is one. |
We configure the system to produce what these returns ask for, and we test it against your own transactions before go-live. We are not tax agents: your accountant or tax adviser signs the return, and rates and thresholds change, so treat this as the shape of the work rather than advice. Last reviewed 15 September 2026.
No partner can fix a process nobody owns internally. Projects fail on unowned data cleansing, scope that grows without being re-priced, and training cut to hit a date - not on the software.
How we handle it: We name those three as risks in the proposal and ask you to nominate an internal owner before we start.
