Building a fully automated payment processing system for a Saudi ride-hailing platform - from fare capture and driver payouts to ZATCA e-invoicing and daily reconciliation - running end-to-end with no manual intervention.
“Shyphan automated our entire payment flow. We went from chasing spreadsheets to payouts and invoices that just run themselves.”
Bassim Sujaat, Eco Ride

Eco Ride partnered with Shyphan to deliver one hands-off payment engine. Eco Ride was growing fast, but every ride still meant manual work behind the scenes - matching payments, calculating payouts and issuing invoices by hand.
Shyphan built an automated payment processing system that connects Eco Ride’s app and payment gateways to finance, so fares, payouts, invoices and reconciliation all run on their own. The build combined Payment Automation Engine and Invoicing & Reconciliation, configured around how the business actually runs.
Within weeks of go-live, Eco Ride’s payment operations were faster, cleaner and effectively hands-off. Measured outcomes included 100% Automated Reconciliation, 95% Faster Driver Payouts and zero Manual Invoicing. The project was delivered by Shyphan across Saudi Arabia.
From the first data point to the last report, this is the path the work takes every day.

Finance matched thousands of rides to gateway payments in spreadsheets every day.
Payouts were calculated by hand, so drivers waited and disputes were common.
ZATCA-compliant invoices were created manually, one trip at a time.
Card, wallet and cash data lived across the app, gateways and separate sheets.
Failed and pending charges slipped through with no automatic retry or follow-up.
Leadership had no live picture of revenue, commissions or driver liabilities.
“Payments were eating our team’s time. Every day started with reconciling yesterday’s rides before we could do anything else.”

Card, wallet and cash flows unified through one API layer.
Commission and fare rules calculate settlements automatically.
Compliant e-invoice generated and cleared for every ride.
Rides matched to settlements with mismatches flagged automatically.
We rolled the system out in controlled phases so live payments were never at risk while we automated the flow behind them.

Every build we deliver in Saudi Arabia is checked against the Kingdom’s tax, e-invoicing, payroll and data rules before go-live. These are the ones that shaped this project.
Fatoora onboarding with CSID, UBL 2.1 XML, QR codes and clearance or reporting depending on B2B or B2C.
Standard, zero-rated and exempt supplies mapped correctly, VAT-inclusive pricing where the market expects it, and return-ready reports.
Personal data of customers and staff kept to what the process needs, with role-based access and audit logs.
Arabic and English on invoices, quotations and customer communications, with Hijri and Gregorian dates where required.
Halala-level rounding, SAR as base currency and ZATCA-compliant totals on every document.
Card data never touches our systems; the licensed gateway handles it and we store only tokens and references.

Fares, payouts and invoices process automatically with no daily manual work.
Accurate, on-time settlements ended payout disputes and delays.
Every trip gets a ZATCA-compliant invoice with no manual effort.
Leadership sees revenue, commission and payouts in real time.
Auto-reconciliation catches mismatches, refunds and chargebacks early.
The engine handles more rides without adding finance headcount.
“Shyphan automated our entire payment process end to end. Fares are captured, drivers are paid, invoices go out and everything reconciles on its own. Our finance team went from firefighting every morning to simply reviewing a dashboard. It has been a genuine turning point for how we run Eco Ride.”
