SAP Integration in Saudi Arabia

SAP runs the financial and operational core of many large Saudi organisations - but it rarely works alone. Shyphan builds secure, two-way SAP integrations that connect SAP ECC and S/4HANA to the ecommerce stores, CRMs, portals, marketplaces and custom apps your teams use every day.

Overview

SAP integration, done properly

For a large enterprise in Saudi Arabia, SAP is usually the single source of truth for finance, procurement and supply chain. The problem is that customers, sales teams, warehouses and online channels all need SAP data too - and copying it by hand is slow, error-prone and expensive. A well-built integration removes that friction: an order placed online lands in SAP as a sales order, an invoice raised in SAP flows to ZATCA and back to the customer, and stock levels stay accurate everywhere at once.

Shyphan connects SAP ECC and S/4HANA using the right method for each case - OData and REST APIs, BAPIs and RFCs, or IDocs for high-volume document exchange - and, where you already run SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite (CPI), we build cleanly on top of it. Where you do not, we provide a lightweight, monitored middleware so you are not locked into heavy licensing you do not need.

Every integration is designed around your reality in the Kingdom: 15% VAT and SAR on every document, ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing kept intact, Arabic and English data handled correctly, and hosting that respects your data-residency requirements. The result is one connected estate where SAP stays the system of record and the rest of your tools simply stay in sync.

Why integrate

Why connect SAP to your other systems

The business case for a clean SAP integration is usually simple.

No double entry

Orders, invoices and master data flow automatically, so teams stop re-keying between SAP and everything else.

Faster operations

Online orders reach SAP in minutes, not overnight batches, so fulfilment and finance move faster.

One set of numbers

Stock, pricing and customer data stay consistent across SAP, ecommerce, CRM and reporting.

Audit-ready & compliant

ZATCA e-invoicing and VAT stay correct, with a full log of every record that moved.

Save hours every week

Cut out the manual exports, re-keying and reconciliation that quietly eat your team's time.

Fewer costly errors

Automated, validated data flow means fewer wrong orders, prices, stock counts and invoices.

Capabilities

How we build the integration

We pick the SAP interface that fits your landscape, volumes and latency needs.

OData & REST APIs

Modern S/4HANA OData services and REST endpoints for real-time, record-level integration.

BAPI & RFC

Proven BAPIs and remote function calls for reliable read and write into SAP business objects.

IDoc exchange

High-volume, asynchronous document flow for orders, invoices, deliveries and master data.

Middleware & CPI

Build on SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite (CPI), or a lightweight monitored middleware if you prefer.

ZATCA e-invoice bridge

Route SAP billing documents to ZATCA Phase 2 and reconcile the cleared response.

Monitoring & retries

Alerting, error queues and automatic retries so a failed message never goes unnoticed.

Use cases

Common SAP Integration scenarios

SAP ↔ ecommerce

Sync products, prices and stock to your online store and push web orders back into SAP as sales orders.

SAP ↔ CRM

Give sales a live view of customers, credit, orders and invoices without opening SAP.

SAP ↔ customer portal

Let B2B customers see orders, statements and delivery status straight from SAP.

SAP ↔ ZATCA

Keep e-invoicing compliant by bridging SAP billing to the ZATCA platform automatically.

Live reporting & dashboards

Feed a single dashboard from connected systems so leadership sees real-time numbers, not week-old exports.

Alerts & notifications

Trigger WhatsApp or email alerts when key events happen - a big order, a low stock level, a failed payment.

How we work

Our integration approach

1

Discovery

We map the systems, data, volumes and edge cases, then quote a fixed price.

2

Design

We agree the data model, direction of sync, triggers and error handling.

3

Build

We develop the connectors and transformations in a safe, sandboxed environment.

4

Test

Real data, edge cases and failure scenarios are tested before go-live.

5

Go-live & support

We monitor the first runs and stay on with SLA-backed support.

FAQ

SAP Integration - your questions

Do you integrate both SAP ECC and S/4HANA?
Yes. We work with SAP ECC (including ECC 6.0) and S/4HANA, on-premise or in the cloud. We choose the interface - OData, BAPI/RFC or IDoc - based on your version, volumes and whether you need real-time or scheduled sync.
Which integration methods do you use with SAP?
Whatever fits best: OData and REST APIs for modern, record-level integration, BAPIs and RFCs for reliable reads and writes, and IDocs for high-volume document exchange. If you run SAP PI/PO or Integration Suite (CPI), we build on it.
Can you keep SAP compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing?
Yes. We bridge SAP billing documents to ZATCA Phase 2 (Fatoora), submit them for clearance and reconcile the cleared response back into SAP, so your e-invoicing stays compliant end to end.
Can you connect SAP to our ecommerce store or marketplace?
Yes. We commonly connect SAP to online stores and marketplaces so products, prices and stock flow out and orders flow back in as SAP sales orders, with inventory kept accurate on both sides.
Is the integration real-time or batch?
Either. Some flows are best real-time (an online order into SAP), others suit scheduled batches (nightly master-data or stock updates). We agree the right pattern per data set during design.
How do you keep the integration secure?
Encrypted transport, least-privilege service accounts, secrets kept out of code, and full audit logging of every record moved. We can host in-Kingdom or on your own cloud to meet data-residency needs.
Do you provide support after go-live?
Yes. We monitor the integration, alert on failures, retry safely and provide SLA-backed support from our Riyadh and India desks, plus documentation and handover for your team.
