Mobile apps for a Saudi ESG and energy-efficiency firm: auditors capture site data on their phones, and clients follow baselines, milestones and reports in their own app.

Istify is a Saudi ESG and energy-efficiency consulting and platform company. Shyphan built its mobile apps: a field app that auditors use to capture site and energy data, a client app for following progress and reports, and the backend and admin dashboard behind them.

Auditors needed structured forms and meter readings on site, even with poor signal
The field app captures forms, photos and readings offline and syncs later
Data from every site had to arrive in one structure for baselines
Every site's data reaches the ESG backend in the same structure
Clients waited for emails to follow milestones and reports
Clients follow milestones and reports in their own mobile app
Reports had to be approved before they reached the client
Only reports approved in the admin dashboard are released to clients
Auditors visit each site and use the field audit app to complete structured forms per site and asset, adding photos, meter readings and notes. The app works offline when signal is poor.
When the device is back online, the field app syncs the captured audits to the ESG data backend, where every site's data is stored in the same structure.
The backend uses the structured site data, together with energy and carbon data ingested via API where the source permits, to build each client's energy and carbon baseline.
Istify's team tracks the consulting milestones for each client project, using the client and project records held in the admin dashboard so progress is recorded against the right engagement.
Reviewers use the admin dashboard to check submitted audit data and approve each report. Only approved reports move on, so nothing reaches the client before it has been signed off.
Clients open their own mobile app to follow milestones and project status and read approved reports and dashboards, with push notifications telling them when a new report or milestone is ready.
Shyphan delivered the project on Field audit mobile app, Client mobile app, ESG data backend and Admin dashboard, covering a 6-step process with 4 integration points.

The field audit app is built for offline capture. Auditors complete forms, take photos and record meter readings without a connection, and the app keeps the audit on the device. When the phone is online again, the audit syncs to the ESG data backend.
Reports are reviewed and approved in the admin dashboard. Only approved reports are passed to the client mobile app, and clients receive a push notification when a new report is ready. Unapproved reports stay on the admin side of the platform.
Yes, where the source permits it. The ESG data backend can ingest energy and carbon data via API and combine it with the structured site data captured by auditors in the field app. Ingestion only happens where the source allows it.
