Business software for French companies, built and run properly
Shyphan is a Zoho Premium Partner and software engineering team working with French businesses on three fronts: implementing the Zoho suite, building custom software when nothing off the shelf fits, and putting AI to work where it actually pays back. Three practices, one delivery team
Most companies end up with a Zoho partner, a development agency and an AI consultancy who have never spoken to each other. We run all three, so the CRM, the bespoke system around it and the automation on top are designed as one thing.
Zoho implementation
CRM, Books, One, People, Creator, Desk, Projects, Inventory and Analytics, implemented, migrated and supported by a Zoho Premium Partner. French e-invoicing and French TVA handled properly, not bolted on.
- Zoho CRM, Books and One rollouts
- Migration from Salesforce, HubSpot, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
- Managed support and admin cover
Custom software
When the process genuinely does not fit an off-the-shelf product: web applications, mobile apps, portals, MVPs, SaaS products and internal systems. Prototype before build, source code in your ownership.
- Web and mobile application development
- MVPs, SaaS products and B2B portals
- Systems integration and custom ERP
Applied AI
Chatbots, agents, document processing and business automation, grounded on your own data with a human in the loop. Narrow, measurable pilots first, so you find out inside a month whether it is worth scaling.
- Customer-facing chatbots and voice agents
- Document processing and data extraction
- AI inside your CRM and ERP
Every Zoho application, not just the CRM
Most partners sell one or two apps well. We implement the suite, which matters because the value of Zoho is not any single product - it is that sales, finance, HR, support and projects finally share one record of the truth.
CRM, Books, One, People, Payroll, Creator, Desk, Projects, Inventory, Analytics, FSM, Recruit, Commerce, Campaigns, Sign, Flow and the rest. We will also tell you which of them you do not need.

Works with what you already run
Nothing here requires you to throw out the tools that are working. We connect what earns its place, replace what does not, and make the boundary between the two explicit before we start.
Also connected on French projects: Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, LinkedIn, Amazon, Pipedrive, GoCardless, Stripe, Monday.com, DocuSign, Yousign, Power BI and French bank feeds. If it has an API - or even a nightly file drop - we have almost certainly connected something like it before.
Business software for French companies, built and run properly: the short answer
- What it is
- Business software for French companies from one team: Zoho implementation, custom software and applied AI.
- Best suited to
- Businesses in India, the Gulf and France that have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected tools and want one system rather than several that need reconciling.
- Typical timeline
- A focused rollout for a small team goes live in three to six weeks. A multi-app deployment with data migration and integrations usually runs eight to sixteen weeks.
- What it costs
- Quoted as a fixed price in your local currency after a free 30-minute discovery call. The price depends on scope, the state of your data and what has to be integrated; software licences are billed separately by the vendor.
- Local specifics
- TVA at the right rate on every invoice, Factur-X e-invoicing through an approved platform ready for the September 2026 reform, Zoho People connected to your French payroll provider for the DSN, French documents where the Loi Toubon requires them, GDPR-aware data handling in Zoho’s EU data centre, and delivery on Paris time (CET/CEST).

The work we are most often called in for
Twelve engagements that make up the bulk of what French clients ask us to do. Each one is scoped and quoted as a fixed price before any work starts.
Getting Business Software Company France right in France
Rolling out Zoho in France goes best when the local rules are designed in from day one. These are the four we start with in Business Software Company France.
TVA and e-invoicing in the design
TVA rates, your SIREN and intra-community VAT number and the route to an approved e-invoicing platform are part of the first configuration, not a phase two.
Payroll connected
Zoho People feeds your French payroll engine, such as Silae, PayFit, Sage Paie or Cegid, and payroll journals post back to the ledger from the start.
French by default
Templates, customer communication and staff documents in French, as the Loi Toubon requires, with English where you need it.
Delivery on CET hours
Workshops, training and support scheduled on CET hours, remote by default, with on-site days in Paris when they help.
What French compliance means for Business Software Company France
In France, TVA and corporate tax are filed with the DGFiP, payroll is reported every month through the DSN, and the e-invoicing reform changes how invoices are sent and received from 1 September 2026. These are the rules a French setup has to get right.
| Obligation | What the rule is | What has to be configured |
|---|---|---|
| TVA (VAT) | The standard rate is 20%, with 10% for restaurants, passenger transport and some renovation work, 5.5% for most food, books and energy-efficiency works, and 2.1% for the press and some medicines. Returns go on the CA3, monthly or quarterly for small amounts, under the régime réel normal, or on the annual CA12 with instalments under the régime réel simplifié. Intra-EU B2B trade uses the reverse charge (autoliquidation) with EMEBI and DES declarations, B2C distance sales go through the OSS, and import VAT is self-assessed on the CA3. | The right rate by item and customer, SIREN and intra-community VAT numbers on every invoice with the mandatory mentions (payment terms, late-payment penalty rate and the EUR 40 fixed recovery fee), reverse charge and OSS treatment set correctly, deductible TVA tracked, and CA3 or CA12 figures for each period. |
| E-invoicing reform | From 1 September 2026 every VAT-registered business must be able to receive structured e-invoices, and large and mid-sized companies (GE and ETI) must also issue e-invoices and e-report. SMEs and micro-businesses must issue from 1 September 2027. Invoices travel through approved platforms (Plateformes Agréées) in Factur-X, UBL or CII format, and invoices to the public sector already go through Chorus Pro. | Zoho Books' French edition producing Factur-X invoices and connected to B2Brouter, an approved platform, for sending and receiving, customer SIREN numbers captured on every account, and the full flow tested before your issuing date. |
| Corporate tax (IS) | The standard rate is 25%, or 15% on the first EUR 42,500 of profit for qualifying SMEs (turnover under EUR 10m, fully paid-up capital and at least 75% held by individuals). The annual liasse fiscale is built from accounts kept on the Plan Comptable Général, and the FEC (Fichier des Écritures Comptables) must be produced on request in a tax audit. | A chart of accounts on the PCG, entities kept separate, fixed assets recorded, and journals kept complete and sequential so the FEC can be produced on request. |
| Payroll (DSN, URSSAF, PAS) | Every month the employer files the DSN (déclaration sociale nominative) through net-entreprises.fr, pays social contributions to URSSAF and withholds income tax at source (prélèvement à la source). Payroll runs on a French payroll engine such as Silae, PayFit, Sage Paie or Cegid; Zoho Payroll is not available in France. | Zoho People kept as the HR record and connected to your payroll provider, so hires, pay changes, absences and leavers flow across without rekeying, and payroll journals posting to the ledger. |
| Employment and data rules | The legal working week is 35 hours, with RTT days where working time is set above it, five weeks' paid leave (2.5 working days per month), sector collective agreements (conventions collectives) and mandatory company health cover (mutuelle). GDPR is enforced by the CNIL, including consent before non-essential cookies, and the Loi Toubon requires French in consumer documents, employment documents and contracts. | Leave, RTT and working-time rules set per collective agreement, accounts provisioned in Zoho's EU data centre (zoho.eu), consent captured for every contact, French templates for customers and staff, and access and deletion requests handled on record. |
The filing calendar

We configure the system to produce what these returns need, and we test it against your own transactions before go-live. We are not tax advisers: your expert-comptable signs the returns, and rates and thresholds change, so treat this as the shape of the work rather than advice. Last reviewed 24 October 2026.
Built for the way your sector actually works
The configuration that suits a recruitment agency is not the one that suits a contractor. These are the sectors where we have done the work often enough to start from a known-good position rather than a blank screen.
The French bits we handle as standard
A system that is not ready for the DGFiP and your expert-comptable is not finished, whatever the demo looked like. These are configured during the build, not raised as a change request afterwards.
If you operate more than one entity, or trade in more than one currency, say so on the first call. Retrofitting an entity split after a year of mixed transactions costs far more than setting it up correctly on day one.
- French TVA & French e-invoicingTVA codes, reverse charge (autoliquidation) and Factur-X e-invoicing through an approved platform.
- payroll withholding & pension-ready payrollPayroll data structured for DSN submissions and auto-enrolment, reconciled to the ledger.
- GDPRLawful-basis fields, consent capture, retention rules and a signed data processing agreement.
- Euro and multi-currencyEUR base with EUR and USD trading, exchange differences posted automatically.
- French banking and paymentsFrench bank feeds, plus Stripe and GoCardless for card and SEPA Direct Debit collection.
- SIREN/SIRET and RCS awarenessEntity records and, for construction clients, subcontractor reverse charge-aware subcontractor handling.
The questions your IT and legal teams will ask
Most of these come up at contract stage and hold projects up for weeks. Here are the answers in advance, so procurement has something to work with on day one.
Delivery is remote by default, which is what keeps the price down and the timeline short. Where discovery, data migration or training genuinely benefits from being in the room, we schedule on-site attendance in Paris, Lyon or Marseille - and say so in the quote rather than adding it later.
From first call to live in five clear steps
No discovery invoice, no open-ended day rate. You know the scope, the price and the date before anyone starts building.
- 01Discovery call
Thirty minutes on what you run today, what is not working, who it affects and what a good outcome looks like. Free, and with no sales sequence afterwards.
- 02Blueprint and fixed quote
A written plan: the applications, the customisations, the integrations, the timeline and a fixed price in EUR. You can take it to another partner if you want to.
- 03Build and migrate
We configure and build, then migrate your data from Salesforce, HubSpot, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or spreadsheets, cleaning duplicates on the way in.
- 04Train and go live
Admin and end-user training, a parallel run against the old system for the first cycle, then launch. Nobody is asked to trust the new system blindly.
- 05Support and improve
An optional care plan on French business hours with a named consultant: new users, new automations, and the enhancements that only become obvious once people are using it.
What the engagement actually feels like
- One named consultant, start to finishThe person who scoped it is the person who builds it. No handover to a delivery pod you have never met.
- A weekly call and a written summaryWhat shipped, what is next, what is blocked and what we need from you. Fifteen minutes, every week, in writing.
- Working software early, not at the endYou see the first configured module inside two weeks and react to something real rather than to a specification.
- Straight answers about scopeIf something you have asked for is a bad idea, or cheaper done another way, we say so before it is built.
Three ways to work with us
Pick the one that matches how much of the problem is already defined. We will tell you on the first call which we think fits, including when that is the cheapest option rather than the largest.
Fixed-scope project
When you know roughly what you need
- Written scope and a fixed price in EUR
- Phased releases, not one big launch
- Training and handover included
- Thirty days of post-launch cover
Managed service
When you need it run, not just built
- A named consultant, not a ticket queue
- SLA-backed response on French working hours
- A monthly pool of hours for changes
- Quarterly review of what to improve next
Embedded team
When the roadmap is longer than one project
- Developers and consultants working to your backlog
- Productive in about two weeks
- Your tooling, your standards, your code repository
- Scale up or down at a month’s notice
What this looks like against the usual options
The honest version. There are jobs where a reseller is the cheaper answer and jobs where a large consultancy is the safer one. This is where we sit between them.
| Shyphan | Licence reseller | Large consultancy | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Commercials | Fixed price in EUR, agreed before work starts | Licence margin, implementation charged loosely | Day rates, scope grows with the engagement |
| Who does the work | The consultants you met, named in the quote | Often subcontracted onward | Partners sell, juniors deliver |
| Beyond the platform | Custom software and AI in the same team | Platform only; anything else is out of scope | Available, at a different rate card |
| Time to first value | Three to five weeks for a first live app | Fast to licence, slow to configure | Months of discovery before anything ships |
| French compliance | VAT, the e-invoicing reform, payroll withholding and GDPR set up in the build | Left to you and your accountant | Covered, at cost |
| Ownership | Your data and your source code, no lock-in | Account tied to the reseller | Deliverables owned, methods retained |
| When we are the wrong call | You only need licences at the lowest price | - | You need a global rollout across 20 countries |
A certified team you can actually verify
Partner status is easy to claim and easy to check. Ours is listed on Zoho’s own directory, and the individual certifications below are held by named people on the delivery team, not by the company in the abstract.
Is this the right fit for you?
This suits French companies of roughly 10 to 500 staff that have outgrown spreadsheets and a drawer of disconnected tools, where somebody internally can own the data and make decisions. If that is you, the first system usually pays for itself inside the first two quarters.
It is a poor fit if you are looking for the cheapest possible licence reseller, if the requirements are still changing weekly, or if nobody internally has the time to be the counterpart. In any of those cases we will say so on the first call rather than after the invoice.
Where this service is weak - and what we do about it
We are not the cheapest, and we decline work where the budget will not cover doing it properly or where the product is the wrong answer.
How we handle it: You get a written recommendation after the free discovery call either way, including when that recommendation is not to proceed.
