Food-waste treatment rollouts, batch logs, bio-input sales and impact reporting for an Indian cleantech company.

Billion Carbon is an Indian cleantech company offering rapid food-waste treatment and organic soil inputs. It installs treatment at generator sites and sells the resulting bio-inputs to farmers and distributors.

Site assessments, quotes and rollouts tracked separately for each site
Each generator site tracked from lead to rollout project
Waste treatment batches that had to be logged consistently
Every waste treatment batch logged in a Zoho Creator app
Bio-input sales through farmers and distributors needing stock control
Farmer and distributor orders update bio-input stock in Zoho Inventory
Clients needing sustainability impact reports backed by treatment data
Impact reports produced from real batch and sensor data
Each food-waste generator interested in treatment is captured as a lead in Zoho CRM, where the sales team manages the relationship from first contact through to a signed contract.
The team visits and surveys the generator site to assess it for treatment. The assessment is recorded against the lead so the quote that follows reflects the site's actual conditions.
An equipment and contract quote is prepared from the assessment and agreed with the client. The agreed contract is held in Zoho CRM and later drives contract billing in Zoho Books.
Each agreed site becomes a rollout project in Zoho Projects, so installation of the treatment system is planned and tracked site by site until treatment is running.
Once treatment is running, every waste treatment batch is logged in a Zoho Creator app. Sensor and batch data feed the sustainability dashboard that is used for impact reporting.
Bio-inputs are sold to farmers and distributors, with orders updating stock in Zoho Inventory and invoices with GST raised in Zoho Books. Impact reports are produced from the logged batch data.
Shyphan delivered the project on Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Books and Zoho Creator, covering a 6-step process with 3 integration points.

Manage generator leads, site assessments, equipment quotes and contracts in Zoho CRM through to agreement.
Plan and track treatment installations at each generator site as projects in Zoho Projects.
Log each waste treatment batch in the Zoho Creator app so batch data feeds impact reporting.
Record farmer and distributor orders, keep bio-input stock in Zoho Inventory and bill with GST in Zoho Books.
Treatment data feeds the sustainability dashboard.
Contracts invoiced.
Farmer and distributor orders update stock.
Treatment data from sensors and batch logs, used to prepare client impact reports.
Treatment rollout projects by site and their progress in Zoho Projects.
Bio-input stock levels and farmer and distributor orders from Zoho Inventory.
Generator contracts and the invoices raised against them in Zoho Books with GST.
Process mapping, documents and data reviewed with each team.
Target flow agreed across 5 apps and 3 integration points.
Apps configured, custom logic built and integrations connected.
User acceptance testing with real scenarios and role-based training.
Cut-over, hypercare and ongoing improvements.
GST-compliant invoices with the right tax split.
IRN and e-way bill readiness where turnover requires it.
Personal data handled under India’s data protection law.
INR as base currency with export currencies where needed.
Impact reports are built from real treatment data. Every waste batch is logged in a Zoho Creator app, and sensor and batch data feed the sustainability dashboard, so the figures clients receive come from logged batches rather than estimates.
Treatment services run from generator leads in Zoho CRM to rollout projects and batch logs, billed as contracts in Zoho Books. Bio-input sales run through Zoho Inventory, where farmer and distributor orders update stock, with GST invoicing in Zoho Books.
Each generator site follows its own path from lead and site assessment to an agreed equipment and contract quote. The rollout then runs as a project in Zoho Projects, so the status of every site installation can be followed separately.
