Odoo Migration
Move to Odoo with your history and your balances intact.
Odoo Migration in Singapore: the short answer
- What it is
- Odoo migration in Singapore: master data, open balances and history moved from QuickBooks, AutoCount, Sage, SAP, Zoho or Dynamics, reconciled before cutover.
- Best suited to
- Companies in Singapore that want a fixed price and a date, delivered by named consultants rather than a ticket queue.
- Typical timeline
- A focused single-app rollout for a small team goes live in three to six weeks. A multi-app deployment with data migration and integrations usually runs eight to sixteen weeks.
- What it costs
- Implementation is quoted as a fixed price in SGD after a free 30-minute discovery call, and depends on the number of apps, the state of your data and the integrations you need. Odoo bills its software licence separately, per user and per app.
- Local specifics
- 9% GST returns filed to IRAS through myTax Portal. CPF contributions, IR8A submission and Auto-Inclusion Scheme reporting. Subcontractor records for BCA-registered construction work.
- Delivered by
- Shyphan AI Solutions, an Official Odoo Partner. Support on Singapore time (SGT), Monday to Friday, in English. Call +65 3159 1200.

Odoo Migration in Singapore
Shyphan is an Official Odoo Partner delivering Odoo Migration to businesses across the CBD, Jurong and Changi. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call and a written summary, and turns into a fixed-scope statement of work with dates before anyone starts building.
What makes a Singapore Odoo project different from a generic one is the regulatory detail. 9% GST returns filed to IRAS through myTax Portal; CPF contributions, IR8A submission and Auto-Inclusion Scheme reporting; and subcontractor records for BCA-registered construction work. All of it has to be right in the system rather than corrected in a spreadsheet afterwards, and that is where a partner who works in this market every week earns their fee.
You own the outcome: your database, your data and any code we write, documented and handed over. Delivery is in English on Singapore time (SGT), Monday to Friday, with named consultants rather than a ticket queue.
What you get
Configured, localised and supported for Singapore by Shyphan.
Extract & Profile
We pull the source data early and profile it, so you know what is dirty in week one.
Cleansing List
A prioritised list of what only you can fix - duplicates, missing tax numbers, dead items.
Field Mapping
A written mapping from source field to Odoo field, agreed before anything is loaded.
Balance Reconciliation
Trial balance, AR and AP ageing and stock valuation reconciled to the source before sign-off.
Historical Transactions
As much history as genuinely earns its keep, with the rest archived and accessible.
Test Loads
Several rehearsal loads into staging so the production run is routine.
Parallel Run
Old and new running together for a period, with differences investigated, not ignored.
Rollback Plan
A documented way back if the cutover reveals something nobody expected.
Migration Report
What moved, what did not, and why - signed off by your finance lead.
What you get
- Balances that tie - reconciled to the source before anyone signs off.
- No week-one panic - data problems surfaced early, when there is time.
- Rehearsed - the production load is the fourth one we have done, not the first.
- Auditable - a written migration report your accountant can follow.
- A way back - a rollback position, so cutover is not a leap.
Built for Singapore by Shyphan

Where this service is weak - and what we do about it
No implementation partner can fix a process nobody owns internally. Projects fail on unowned data cleansing, scope that grows without being re-priced, and training cut to hit a date - not on the software.
How we handle it: We name those three as risks in the proposal, and ask you to nominate an internal owner before we start.
What compliance in Singapore means in practice
Singapore asks for less paperwork than most markets and is stricter about the shape of it. GST is filed quarterly through myTax Portal, employment income goes straight to IRAS under the Auto-Inclusion Scheme, and InvoiceNow is moving invoice data from an attachment to a structured transmission.
| Obligation | What the rule is | What has to be configured |
|---|---|---|
| GST | GST is 9 per cent. Registration is compulsory once taxable turnover passes one million dollars in a year, and voluntary below it. The GST F5 return is filed within one month of the end of each accounting period, normally quarterly. | Tax codes for standard, zero-rated and exempt supplies, and the Major Exporter Scheme where you hold one, so boxes 1 to 8 of the F5 come straight out of the ledger. |
| InvoiceNow e-invoicing | InvoiceNow runs on the Peppol network and is being phased in for GST-registered businesses, transmitting invoice data to IRAS rather than emailing a PDF. | A Peppol-ready invoice format and an access point connection, with the fields IRAS expects populated at source rather than patched afterwards. |
| CPF contributions | Employers contribute for Singapore citizens and permanent residents at rates that step down with the employee's age, payable by the 14th of the following month. | Age-banded contribution rules held against the employee, Ordinary and Additional Wage ceilings applied automatically, and a CPF submission file. |
| IR8A and the Auto-Inclusion Scheme | Employment income is submitted to IRAS electronically by 1 March, and appears in the employee's own tax return without them entering it. | Pay elements mapped to IR8A line items from the first pay run, plus Appendix 8A where benefits in kind are provided. |
| Corporate income tax | 17 per cent, with partial exemption and the start-up exemption where they apply. Estimated Chargeable Income within three months of financial year end; Form C-S or Form C by 30 November. | A chart of accounts that supports the ECI estimate directly, and fixed-asset records that carry capital-allowance data. |
| ACRA and the PDPA | An annual return to ACRA, financial statements in XBRL where required, and personal data handled under the Personal Data Protection Act. | Statutory reporting fields maintained in the ledger, and consent, retention and access rules enforced by the system rather than by policy alone. |

We configure the system to produce what these returns ask for, and we test it against your own transactions before go-live. We are not tax agents: your accountant or tax adviser signs the return, and rates and thresholds change, so treat this as the shape of the work rather than advice. Last reviewed 15 September 2026.
