Hybrid Cloud Services

Design and management of environments where some systems stay on-premise and others run in Azure or AWS. For organisations with data residency needs, latency-sensitive systems or investments that do not yet justify moving everything.

  • Right workload in the right place
  • One view across on-premise and cloud
  • Secure links between sites and cloud
In short

Hybrid cloud services design, connect and manage an environment where some workloads stay on your own servers while others run in public cloud such as Azure or AWS. The work covers networking, identity, security, backup and unified management, so both sides behave as one platform and each workload sits where it makes most sense for cost, performance and regulation.

Overview

Hybrid Cloud Services: what it involves

Very few organisations move everything to the cloud at once, and some never should. Factory systems need local response, certain data must stay in-country and recently purchased servers still have years of life left. The risk is that on-premise and cloud become two separate worlds with different tools, identities, backups and security rules, which doubles the effort and leaves gaps where the two meet.

We decide workload placement with you based on performance, data residency, cost and lifecycle, then connect the environments properly with site-to-site VPN or private connectivity such as ExpressRoute or AWS Direct Connect. Identity is unified through Entra ID, and on-premise servers come under the same management, policy and monitoring using Azure Arc or AWS Systems Manager. Backup and disaster recovery are designed across both sides, so one set of procedures covers the whole estate.

What we assess

  1. 1Which systems need local performance or must stay in-country
  2. 2Age and remaining life of on-premise servers and storage
  3. 3Bandwidth and resilience of links between sites and cloud
  4. 4Whether identity, patching and backup differ between environments
  5. 5Where costs are duplicated across on-premise and cloud

Deliverables and pricing

What you receive, and what shapes the cost

What you receive

  • A placement assessment showing which workloads stay on site and which move
  • Secure network connectivity between offices, data centres and cloud
  • A single identity setup across on-premise and cloud systems
  • Unified monitoring, patching and backup for both environments
  • Operating documentation and responsibilities for each side

What affects the cost

  • Number of on-premise servers and cloud workloads in scope
  • Type of connectivity needed, such as VPN or a dedicated circuit
  • Regulatory constraints on where specific data may be held
  • Whether management covers both environments or only part

Hybrid Cloud Services: project phases

  1. 01Assess

We review current systems, data rules and business priorities for each workload.

  2. 02Connect

We set up secure networking and identity between on-premise and cloud.

  3. 03Unify

We bring monitoring, patching, backup and security into one set of tools.

  4. 04Operate

We manage both environments under agreed processes and review placement over time.

Avoid these

Common Hybrid Cloud Services mistakes

Two separate worlds

Managing cloud and on-premise with different tools and teams creates gaps, so unify monitoring and security.

Weak connectivity

Poor links between sites and cloud slow everything down, so size and secure the network properly.

Duplicate identities

Separate accounts for each environment cause confusion, so use one synchronised identity.

No placement rules

Workloads end up in the wrong place by habit, so agree criteria for where each belongs.

Key terms

Hybrid Cloud Services terms explained

Hybrid cloud
An IT setup that combines on-premise infrastructure with public cloud services.
Azure Arc
A Microsoft service that brings on-premise and other cloud servers under Azure management.
Site-to-site VPN
An encrypted connection between an office network and a cloud network over the internet.
ExpressRoute
A private connection from your network to Microsoft cloud services that avoids the public internet.

What you get

The difference you will notice

  1. 01
    Clear placement decisions

Each workload sits where it performs and complies best.

  2. 02
    Less duplicated effort

One set of tools and procedures across the estate.

  3. 03
    Fewer gaps

Security and backup cover the joins between environments.

How we deliver

Five steps from assessment to always-on support

  1. STEP 01Assess

We review your infrastructure, security posture, assets and support model, and agree priorities.

  2. STEP 02Design

A clear architecture and plan, with scope, timeline and a fixed quote before work starts.

  3. STEP 03Deploy

We supply, install, configure and migrate, then document everything we build.

  4. STEP 04Manage

Ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance under agreed SLAs.

  5. STEP 05Improve

Regular reviews, reports and recommendations as your business grows.

UAE and Saudi Arabia

Hybrid Cloud Services in the UAE and Saudi Arabia

Local offices in Ras Al Khaimah and Riyadh, remote support around the clock and on-site visits where your project needs them.

Hybrid Cloud Services in the UAE

Shyphan AI Technology LLC, RAK Free Trade Zone, Ras Al Khaimah

Many UAE organisations keep some systems on site in offices or free zone facilities while using Azure UAE North or UAE Central for others. A hybrid design lets data that clients or regulators expect to stay local remain on site, while other workloads benefit from cloud, with controls documented under the UAE PDPL. We support the Emirates from our Ras Al Khaimah office, remotely around the clock and on site where needed.

  • Data handled in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the separate DIFC and ADGM regimes where they apply.

Hybrid Cloud Services in Saudi Arabia

Shyphan AI Technologies LLC, Malaz, King Abdulaziz Road, Riyadh

Hybrid cloud is common in Saudi Arabia because some data must stay in specific locations under the Saudi PDPL and, for government and critical infrastructure, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls. We design connectivity and management for sites in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province so each workload sits where its rules allow. Our Riyadh office leads this work in the Kingdom.

  • Work aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (SDAIA) and, for government and critical infrastructure, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls.
FAQ

Hybrid Cloud Services: common questions

Is hybrid cloud just a step towards full cloud?

Sometimes, but not always. For some workloads staying on-premise is the right long-term choice, and hybrid lets both run well.

Can we manage on-premise servers from Azure?

Yes. Azure Arc lets on-premise and other cloud servers be managed with Azure policies, monitoring and security tools.

Do we need a dedicated line to the cloud?

Not always. Site-to-site VPN suits many organisations. Dedicated private connections help when bandwidth, latency or reliability needs are higher.

Do you manage both sides?

Yes. Our infrastructure and cloud teams work together, so on-premise and cloud are supported under one agreement.

Is hybrid cloud suitable for Saudi organisations with strict data rules?

Often yes. Sensitive data can stay on site or in approved locations while other workloads use public cloud, after a review of your classification and obligations.

Can you connect our UAE office servers to Azure securely?

Yes, using a site-to-site VPN or a private connection, depending on traffic volume and reliability needs.

Do you provide Hybrid Cloud Services in Dubai and the UAE?

Yes. We deliver Hybrid Cloud Services across the UAE from our Ras Al Khaimah office, covering Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, with remote support 24/7 and on-site visits where your project needs them. For Saudi Arabia, our Riyadh team covers the same service.
