Network Design & Installation
We plan and install business networks from the first site survey to the final test, covering topology, addressing, switching, Wi-Fi and the links between sites. It suits companies opening an office, adding a site or replacing a network that grew without a plan.
- Design based on a real site survey
- One team from plan to go-live
- Full documentation at handover
Network design and installation is the planning and building of a business network, starting with a site survey and ending with tested, documented equipment. It covers topology, IP addressing, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi, firewalls and links between sites, so the network performs under real load and can be extended without rework.
Network Design & InstallationNetwork Design & Installation: what it involves
Many office networks were never designed. They grew one switch and one extension at a time, so nobody knows which port feeds which desk, where the bottlenecks are or what happens if a core device fails. That shows up as slow file transfers, dropped calls, Wi-Fi dead spots and long outages when something breaks, because the people fixing it have to work out the layout before they can start.
We start with a walk-through of the building and a conversation about how your teams work: where people sit, which applications matter, how many devices, guests and cameras you expect. From that we produce a design with topology, IP addressing, VLANs, Wi-Fi placement and equipment list, agree it with you, then install, test and label everything. You receive diagrams, configurations and an IP plan your own staff or our support desk can work from.
What we agree before installation
- 1Number of users, devices and expected growth
- 2Applications that need priority, such as voice and video
- 3Floor plans, comms room locations and cable routes
- 4Internet and inter-site link requirements
- 5Go-live window and how to keep staff working during cut-over
Our Network Design & Installation scope
Business networks planned from a site survey and installed to a documented design.

Walk-through of floors, risers and comms rooms to understand the space.
Core, distribution and access layers sized for current and future users.
Addressing and segmentation for staff, guests, voice and devices.
Switches, access points, firewalls and racks specified to the design.
Equipment racked, cabled, configured and tested on site.
Diagrams, configurations and IP plan delivered at go-live.
What you receive, and what shapes the cost
What you receive
- Site survey report with comms rooms, cable routes and access point positions marked on floor plans
- Logical and physical network diagrams showing core, access and inter-site links
- IP addressing and VLAN plan with naming conventions
- Installed, configured and labelled switches, firewall and access points
- Handover pack with configuration backups, test results and securely stored admin credentials
What affects the cost
- Number of floors, sites and users to be connected
- Whether existing switches, firewalls and cabling can be reused
- Level of redundancy required for core devices and internet links
- Working hours allowed for installation, such as nights or weekends in occupied offices
Network Design & Installation: project phases
- 01Survey and requirements
We walk the site, count users and devices, and record the applications that need priority.
- 02Design and sign-off
We produce diagrams, an addressing plan and an equipment list for your approval before anything is ordered.
- 03Build and cut-over
We install and configure the equipment, then move users across in an agreed window.
- 04Test and handover
We test every link and service, then hand over documentation and configuration backups.
Common Network Design & Installation mistakes
Kit chosen from a catalogue often lacks the ports, power or features the design needs, so agree the design first and buy against it.
Putting staff, guests, cameras and servers on one segment spreads faults and threats, so plan VLANs from the start.
Sizing only for today's headcount leads to a second project soon after, so allow spare ports, rack space and switch capacity.
Without diagrams and port maps every later fault takes longer to trace, so insist on a full handover pack.
Network Design & Installation terms explained
- Topology
- The layout of how network devices connect to each other, such as core, distribution and access layers.
- VLAN
- A virtual segment that separates groups of devices that share the same physical switches.
- Core switch
- The central switch that carries traffic between other switches, servers and the internet edge.
- Cut-over
- The planned moment when users move from the old network to the new one.

The difference you will notice
- 01A network with a plan
Every device, port and address recorded in one place.
- 02Faster fault finding
Clear diagrams mean problems are traced in minutes, not guessed at.
- 03Ready for growth
Spare capacity and a layout that takes new users without rework.
Five steps from assessment to always-on support
- STEP 01Assess
We review your infrastructure, security posture, assets and support model, and agree priorities.
- STEP 02Design
A clear architecture and plan, with scope, timeline and a fixed quote before work starts.
- STEP 03Deploy
We supply, install, configure and migrate, then document everything we build.
- STEP 04Manage
Ongoing support, monitoring and maintenance under agreed SLAs.
- STEP 05Improve
Regular reviews, reports and recommendations as your business grows.
Network Design & Installation in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Local offices in Ras Al Khaimah and Riyadh, remote support around the clock and on-site visits where your project needs them.

Network Design & Installation in the UAE
Shyphan AI Technology LLC, RAK Free Trade Zone, Ras Al KhaimahIn the UAE many offices sit in free zone or landlord-managed towers where riser access, comms room space and work permits must be agreed with building management before installation. Businesses with sites in several emirates usually need one design that links Dubai, Abu Dhabi and northern emirates offices over SD-WAN or VPN with consistent addressing. We support the Emirates from our Ras Al Khaimah office, remotely around the clock and on site where needed.
- Data handled in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the separate DIFC and ADGM regimes where they apply.

Network Design & Installation in Saudi Arabia
Shyphan AI Technologies LLC, Malaz, King Abdulaziz Road, RiyadhIn Saudi Arabia organisations often run head office in Riyadh with branches in Jeddah and the Eastern Province, so the design must cover inter-city links and a clear plan for each site. Government suppliers and critical infrastructure operators should align segmentation and logging with the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls from the design stage. Our Riyadh office leads this work in the Kingdom.
- Work aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (SDAIA) and, for government and critical infrastructure, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls.
Network Design & Installation: common questions
How long does a network design take?
It depends on the size of the site. A single office floor is usually quicker than a multi-building campus, and we give you a timeline after the site survey.
Can you use equipment we already own?
Yes. We assess existing switches and access points and reuse what is still supported and suitable, so you only buy what the design needs.
Do you install in occupied offices?
Yes. We plan work and cut-overs out of hours where needed so your teams can keep working.
What do we receive at the end?
Network diagrams, an IP and VLAN plan, device configurations and test results, handed over to your team or our support desk.
Do you design networks for offices in Dubai free zones?
Yes. We work with free zone and building management on access, riser routes and comms room space, and design the network to fit the space you lease.
Can one design cover our Riyadh and Jeddah offices?
Yes. We produce one addressing and security standard for all sites and adapt the physical design to each building, with inter-site links planned in the same document.
Do you provide Network Design & Installation in Dubai and the UAE?
Yes. We deliver Network Design & Installation across the UAE from our Ras Al Khaimah office, covering Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, with remote support 24/7 and on-site visits where your project needs them. For Saudi Arabia, our Riyadh team covers the same service.
