Structured Cabling Services
Structured cabling is the physical layer under every network: the copper and fibre runs, patch panels and racks that connect desks, access points, cameras and servers. We install new cabling and tidy up existing installations for offices, warehouses, clinics and retail sites.
- Copper and fibre to a clear standard
- Every point labelled and tested
- Neat racks that are easy to work on
Structured cabling is a standardised system of copper and fibre cables, patch panels, racks and outlets that connects every network device in a building. Installed and certified properly, it supports data, voice, Wi-Fi access points, cameras and building systems for many years, and makes moves and changes simple to trace.
Structured Cabling ServicesStructured Cabling Services: what it involves
Cabling is easy to ignore until it fails. Untested runs, unlabelled patch panels and tangled racks make every move, add or change slow and risky, and a damaged cable can look like a network or Wi-Fi fault for days before anyone finds it. Because cabling usually outlasts several generations of switches, poor work done during a fit-out tends to cause problems for many years after the contractor has gone.
We plan cable routes with your fit-out team or landlord, choose the right category of copper or type of fibre for each run, and install to a consistent labelling scheme from wall outlet to patch panel. Every link is tested and the results are recorded. Racks are dressed with cable management so engineers can trace and patch quickly, and you receive floor plans showing where every point goes.
Before cabling starts
- 1Floor plans with desk, printer and access point positions
- 2Ceiling and floor access, containment and cable routes
- 3Comms room location, power and ventilation
- 4Number of spare points for future changes
- 5Fit-out schedule so cabling happens before ceilings close
Our Structured Cabling Services scope
Copper and fibre cabling, racks and patching, installed tidily, labelled and tested.

Data points for desks, phones, cameras and access points.
Fibre between floors, buildings and comms rooms.
Racks, patch panels and cable management installed and dressed.
Consistent labels on outlets, panels and both ends of every cable.
Each link tested, with results recorded for your records.
Floor plans showing every outlet and its patch panel port.
What you receive, and what shapes the cost
What you receive
- Cable route and outlet plan agreed against your floor layout
- Installed copper and fibre runs terminated on labelled patch panels and outlets
- Rack build with cable management, patch leads and tidy dressing
- Certification test results for every link
- As-built drawings and a port schedule mapping each outlet to its panel position
What affects the cost
- Number of outlets and the length of each cable run
- Cable category and whether fibre backbones are needed between floors or buildings
- Ceiling, floor and containment conditions, including any new trays or conduits
- Whether the work is part of a new fit-out or in an occupied office
Structured Cabling Services: project phases
- 01Survey and layout
We confirm outlet positions, cable routes, containment and comms room locations with you and the fit-out team.
- 02Containment and pulling
Trays and conduits are fitted where needed and cables are pulled along the agreed routes.
- 03Termination and dressing
Cables are terminated, labelled and dressed neatly into racks and panels.
- 04Testing and as-builts
Every link is tested with a certifier and the results are delivered with as-built drawings.
Common Structured Cabling Services mistakes
Combining old and new cable grades limits a link to the lowest grade, so specify one category per installation.
Unlabelled ports turn every move into guesswork, so require a labelling scheme that matches the port schedule.
Data cables laid alongside power cables can suffer interference, so keep separation or use proper containment.
Without certification you cannot prove a link meets its rating, so ask for test results before sign-off.
Structured Cabling Services terms explained
- Patch panel
- A rack-mounted panel where building cables end and short patch leads connect them to switches.
- Cat6A
- A grade of copper network cable designed to carry higher speeds over standard office distances.
- Backbone
- The cabling, usually fibre, that links comms rooms on different floors or in different buildings.
- Certification test
- A measurement with a dedicated tester that confirms a cable link meets its rated performance.

The difference you will notice
- 01Faster moves and changes
Labelled points mean new desks are patched without guesswork.
- 02Fewer hidden faults
Tested links rule out cabling when diagnosing problems.
- 03Tidy comms rooms
Racks that are safe and quick for any engineer to work on.
Five steps from assessment to always-on support
- STEP 01Assess
We review your infrastructure, security posture, assets and support model, and agree priorities.
- STEP 02Design
A clear architecture and plan, with scope, timeline and a fixed quote before work starts.
- STEP 03Deploy
We supply, install, configure and migrate, then document everything we build.
- STEP 04Manage

- STEP 05Improve
Regular reviews, reports and recommendations as your business grows.
Structured Cabling Services in the UAE and Saudi Arabia
Local offices in Ras Al Khaimah and Riyadh, remote support around the clock and on-site visits where your project needs them.

Structured Cabling Services in the UAE
Shyphan AI Technology LLC, RAK Free Trade Zone, Ras Al KhaimahIn the UAE cabling is often installed during a fit-out managed by an interior contractor, and towers in free zones such as DMCC or Dubai Silicon Oasis have their own rules for riser access and work permits. Coordinating early with the landlord and the fit-out programme avoids reopening finished ceilings. We support the Emirates from our Ras Al Khaimah office, remotely around the clock and on site where needed.
- Data handled in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and the separate DIFC and ADGM regimes where they apply.

Structured Cabling Services in Saudi Arabia
Shyphan AI Technologies LLC, Malaz, King Abdulaziz Road, RiyadhIn Saudi Arabia large new builds in Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province often run cabling alongside mechanical and electrical works, so the cabling team needs to join coordination meetings early. Industrial and warehouse sites in the Eastern Province may need armoured or outdoor-rated cable for longer runs between buildings. Our Riyadh office leads this work in the Kingdom.
- Work aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (SDAIA) and, for government and critical infrastructure, the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls.
Structured Cabling Services: common questions
Copper or fibre: which do we need?
Most desk and access point connections use copper. Fibre is usually used between floors, buildings and comms rooms where distance or capacity calls for it. We recommend the mix after the survey.
Can you tidy an existing rack?
Yes. We can re-patch, label and dress an existing rack, usually out of hours, and document what is connected where.
Do you work with fit-out contractors?
Yes. We coordinate with your fit-out team so cabling is installed before ceilings and floors are closed.
Will we get test results?
Yes. Every installed link is tested and the results are included in the handover pack with the as-built drawings.
Can you cable an office during a fit-out in Dubai?
Yes. We work to the fit-out programme, attend coordination meetings and install containment and cabling before ceilings close.
Do you install cabling for CCTV and access control too?
Yes. Cameras, door controllers and other building devices can run on the same structured cabling with their own patch panels and VLANs.
Do you provide Structured Cabling Services in Dubai and Riyadh?
Yes. We deliver Structured Cabling Services across the UAE from our Ras Al Khaimah office and across Saudi Arabia from our Riyadh office, with remote support 24/7 and on-site visits in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam where your project needs them.
