Where Irish clients start

Three problems we’re usually called in to fix

Most enquiries are one of these. If yours is something else, the call will still be useful.

Zoho CRM logo

“Sales runs on spreadsheets”

Leads sit in inboxes, follow-ups depend on memory, and nobody can forecast. We build the pipeline in Zoho CRM around how you actually sell.

  • Multi-stage pipelines with Blueprint gates
  • Lead routing, scoring and chase automation
  • Quotes, telephony and Outlook or Gmail sync
  • Dashboards your directors get by email
Zoho Books logo

“VAT quarters are a scramble”

Bank feeds unreconciled, digital links broken, adjustments every quarter. We set up Zoho Books as an the Companies Registration Office (CRO)-recognised ROS ledger.

  • VAT through ROS filed direct to the Companies Registration Office (CRO) from Zoho Books
  • Correct scheme: standard, flat rate or cash accounting
  • Open banking feeds with rules-based reconciliation
  • Reverse charge, postponed import VAT, multi-currency
Zoho One logo

“We pay for twelve tools”

Separate CRM, helpdesk, HR, expenses, e-sign and reporting, none of them talking. Zoho One puts 45+ apps on one licence and one login.

  • Cost modelled against your current subscriptions
  • Phased rollout, not a big-bang switch
  • One customer record across sales, finance and support
  • SSO, permissions and admin from one console

Sector experience

Built for the way your industry actually works

The platform is generic; the value is in configuring it around sector process. These are Ireland sectors we are called into most, and the specifics we handle in each.

Not on the list? Most of what we build is process work rather than sector software, so the discovery call will tell you quickly whether we are a fit.

How it works

From first call to go live in four steps

You approve each stage before the next one starts, and the price is agreed before any build work begins.

Assurance

How we handle your data and your build

The questions procurement and finance ask before a project is signed off, answered up front rather than in a questionnaire three weeks later.

EU data residency

Irish clients are provisioned in Zoho’s European data centre, so application data is processed and stored in the EU. We document it for your record of processing.

NDA and processing terms

We sign an NDA as a matter of course and work to written processing terms. Sandbox work uses masked or sample data wherever the real thing is not needed.

Least-privilege access

Roles, profiles and sharing rules are designed before go-live, and our own access is scoped and removable. Admin credentials stay in your ownership throughout.

Reconciled migrations

Every migration ends in a written reconciliation: record counts, financial totals and open items compared and signed off before the old system is retired.

Documented handover

Configuration notes, Deluge, integration runbooks and admin training are handed over in full. There is no encrypted black box you need us to maintain.

Monitored automations

Scheduled jobs and integrations are built with retries, alerting and exception reports, so a silent failure reaches a human the same day rather than at month end.

Local compliance

What Ireland compliance means in practice

Almost everything Irish Revenue wants arrives through ROS, and payroll arrives on or before the day people are paid. For a subsidiary of an overseas group the harder part is usually not the Irish return itself but keeping the Irish books in a shape that satisfies both Revenue and the parent's reporting calendar.

ObligationWhat the rule isWhat has to be configured
VATThe standard rate is 23 per cent, with 13.5 and 9 per cent reduced rates and a zero rate on several categories. VAT3 returns are normally bi-monthly through ROS by the 23rd, and a Return of Trading Details follows annually.Tax rules per rate and per supply type, reverse charge on intra-EU acquisitions and on construction under RCT, and a VAT3 that reconciles to the ledger without a spreadsheet in between.
PAYE ModernisationA payroll submission goes to Revenue on or before each payday, carrying PAYE, PRSI and USC for every employee. There is no annual P35.Revenue Payroll Notifications imported before each run, so employees are taxed on the credits Revenue has actually issued rather than last month's.
Relevant Contracts TaxPrincipal contractors in construction, forestry and meat processing must notify each contract and each payment to Revenue, and deduct at the rate Revenue returns.Subcontractor records that hold the RCT rate and the deduction authorisation, with payment notification built into the payment run.
Corporation tax12.5 per cent on trading income and 25 per cent on passive income, with a 15 per cent effective minimum for in-scope large groups under Pillar Two.Trading and non-trading income separated in the ledger from the start, because splitting them afterwards is where the time goes.
Companies Registration OfficeAn annual return on Form B1 within 56 days of the annual return date, with financial statements attached.Statutory accounts produced from the same ledger the management accounts come from, so the two do not have to be reconciled.
GDPRThe Data Protection Commission supervises GDPR in Ireland, and is lead supervisory authority for many of the technology companies established here.Lawful-basis and consent records held against the contact, retention applied by the system, and subject access answered from a report rather than a search of inboxes.

The filing calendar

  • Every paydayPayroll submission to Revenue through ROS
  • Bi-monthly, by the 23rdVAT3 return
  • Monthly, by the 23rdPAYE, PRSI and USC payment
  • Within 56 days of the ARDForm B1 annual return to the CRO

Who you file with

We configure the system to produce what these returns ask for, and we test it against your own transactions before go-live. We are not tax agents: your accountant or tax adviser signs the return, and rates and thresholds change, so treat this as the shape of the work rather than advice. Last reviewed 15 September 2026.

Before you enquire

The questions we get asked first

Straight answers on cost, timelines, data and what happens if we are not the right fit.

What does a Zoho implementation cost?
It is quoted per project after the free call, as a fixed sum in EUR. The price depends on which apps, how many users, how much data has to move and what needs integrating. Zoho’s own licence fees are billed separately by Zoho, and we will tell you exactly which edition you need rather than the most expensive one.
How does PAYE Modernisation change the payroll process?
A payroll submission goes to Revenue on or before each payday, carrying PAYE, PRSI and USC for every employee, and there is no annual P35 to catch up on. The part that matters in setup is importing Revenue Payroll Notifications before each run, so people are taxed on the credits Revenue has actually issued.
How long until we are live?
A focused Zoho CRM or Zoho Books rollout for a small Irish team is commonly live in two to six weeks including data migration and training. A full Zoho One or ERP deployment across sales, finance and operations is phased over three to six months so each stage delivers before the next begins.
Can you move our data across without losing history?
Yes. Notes, attachments, activity history and closed records come across, not just the master data. We profile and cleanse the source first, run a dry load into a sandbox that you inspect, then reconcile record counts and financial totals in writing before the old system is switched off.
Does Zoho Books actually handle Irish VAT and the Revenue Online Service (ROS)?
Yes. Zoho Books is on the Companies Registration Office (CRO)’s list of ROS-compatible software. We complete the the Companies Registration Office (CRO) authorisation, set your VAT scheme and periods, configure reverse charge and postponed import VAT where relevant, and file a test return with you before handover.
Will you tell us if Zoho is the wrong fit?
Yes, and we do. We have advised Irish businesses to stay on their current system, to buy a specialist product instead, or to fix a process before buying any software. A bad-fit implementation costs us more in reputation than the fee is worth.
Are you a Ireland company, or offshore?
We are an international team with a Dublin presence and offices in India, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Your workshops, training and support run on Irish working hours (GMT/IST), you get a named consultant, and delivery is remote by default with on-site attendance available for larger rollouts.
What happens after go-live?
Every rollout includes role-based training, written runbooks and a hypercare window. After that you can take a care plan with a named consultant, agreed response times, a monthly allowance for changes and escalation into Zoho through partner channels - or simply run it yourself with the documentation we hand over.
